EA Sports has released the full feature list for Fifa 16, detailing which of the new features won’t be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game is set to be released on September 22 — though players will first get their hands on a demo this week — but the full list of features has already been revealed.

The biggest change has already been announced: for the first time ever, players will be able choose women’s teams. That will initially be a select group of 12 national teams that can only play each other.

That will be included on the earlier consoles, too. Most of the same features that have been revealed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC are included.

One notable missing feature is Pro Clubs, a game mode that lets a group of friends control each member of a team, playing together.

Others include custom music and chants; GameFace, which lets people put themselves into games; and a secondary English commentary mode that was presented by Clyde Tyldesley and Andy Townsend.

“Due to console limitations and available resources, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of FIFA 16 do not feature the same innovations and new modes that are available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC,” EA said revealing the full list of features.

EA said that it “remains dedicated to bringing gameplay innovation and popular game modes on last generation's platforms, so there are lots of new features to watch out for”.

New features that are available across the games included new gameplay abilities, such as “defend as a unit”, which lets players move together to close down attackers, and “moment of magic”, which helps create special moves.

Most of the new features are of that kind, tweaking and refining the gameplay rather than instituting major changes. But developers have added some new game modes, such as Fifa Trainer, a special mode that can overlay training modules to help teach people how to improve — which is available on all platforms.

On the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, players get access to nine new stadiums, which takes the total number to 50 licensed and 28 generic stadiums.
