It asked its "food artists" to make this charming Wills 'n' Kate pizza, complete with ham and mushroom faces.

A mine's deadly legacy
Between 1984 and 2010, the Hobet coal mine in West Virginia slowly destroyed the mountain on which it was built. The website Good used satellite imagery from Nasa to document the growth and sprawl of the mine, showing its footprint in a hellish mixture of rivers of toxic sludge and clouds of carbon dioxide.

Justin Vernon, of Bon Iver, has hinted that he is going to take a new musical direction for his as-yet-untitled second album, expected to be released in June. Despite the project being shrouded in mystery, the Kanye West collaborator has posted a video on his website featuring 50 seconds of music and a painting.

Why do other people's awkward moments make us squirm? Previously, little research had been conducted on "vicarious embarrassment", but a new study, highlighted by Jezebel, has found that watching other people make fools of themselves triggers the part of the brain where we process pain.
