The phrase "Minal aidzin walfaidzin," is at the top of Twitter's most talked about topics on the morning of September 9.

"Minal aidzin walfaidzin," is a phrase that sometimes appears in greeting cards given during Eid - the Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan.

The name of horror film Jeepers Creepers has risen to second place in the charts after airing on TV in the US.

The death of American pop group Lyte Funky Ones (LFO) singer "Rich Cronin" has triggered a multitude of "Rich Cronin" and "LFO" tweets in the Twittersphere as fans pay their respects.

The Backstreet Boys (@backstreetboys) tweeted, "We r so sad 2 hear the news bout Rich Cronin. He was an awesome guy. Our hearts go out 2 his friends, family + fans. Rest in peace brother," while a tweet from the official LFO Twitter account read, "TheRealLFO 's Brad & Devin are distraught over the passing of our brother Rich Cronin. May he rest in peace in the comfort our Lord in Heaven."

The memes "#fatstrippernames," "#alliwant" and "#whotoldyou" take third, fourth and fifth places in the charts.

Mike "Portnoy," drummer for the progressive metal Dream Theater, announced his resignation from the band on September 8. His last name has since shot into seventh place on Twitter's most talked about topics.

"Google Instant" a newly introduced Google Search feature that starts searching for results as you type your query, is in eighth place followed by "Bayramlar," the Turkish word for "holidays."
