Former Microsoft executive Stephen "Elop" has been named as the new CEO at Nokia, the largest mobile phone maker in the world. His name has since risen into fifth place in Twitter's trending topics.
"Eid Mubarak," a Muslim holiday greeting often said at the end of Ramadan is in sixth place while "Aidin Wal Faidzin," an Arabic phrase also used as a holiday greeting, is in ninth place.
The name of Reverend "Terry Jones" is in seventh place on the charts after the Florida, USA-based pastor put his plans to burn the Koran on Saturday on hold, Google's real-time search "Google Instant" remains unchanged in eighth place, and "#StandUp2Cancer" is new in tenth place.
