A picture of Korean 2PM band member Nichkhun (@Khunnie0624) looking "nerdy but cute" in big black glasses has pushed "Nerd Khun" into the top position on Twitter on the morning of September 15.

In second place is "Ley Seca," the Spanish term for prohibition as some Mexican states restrict alcohol sales during celebrations of the country's 200th anniversary of its independence, while chatter about "male strippers" puts the term in third place.

Twitter unveiled a new web page design and user interface on September 14. Users can now embed photos and videos within their tweets. The changes are expected to roll out to Twitter users all over the world in the next couple of weeks.

"I seriously can't wait for the #newtwitter," "Does #NewTwitter mean no fail whale? If so then I'm all for it," "I like the Fly-out profile/media idea on #newtwitter - looks like they wan2 keep you on their site4 longer, PPC style ads in the pipeline?" and "The #newtwitter is more complicated :/"  say users talking about Twitter's new features.

The memes "#youdeserveashoutout" and "#aintnothingsexyabout" are in fifth and sixth place.

Microbloggers just can't stop chatting about one of Lady Gaga's MTV Video Music Award dresses. "Meat Dress" is trending in seventh place.

Nikon's newest D-SLR camera, the "D7000" is in eighth place, the name of Canadian DJ/producer "Deadmau5" is in ninth place, and the name of quasi-documentary " Catfish Movie" is in tenth place.
