Twitterers are reporting that fitness guru "Jack LaLanne" passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 23 at the age of 96.
Indian vocalist "Pandit Bhimsen Joshi" has also passed away and microbloggers are paying their respects with 140 character tweets.
"Someone said, 'Music is what life sounds like.' Pandit Bhimsen Joshi's life was legendary. RIP," tweeted one microblogger.
Professional tennis players "Milos Raonic" and "David Ferrer" take seventh and ninth places in Twitter's trending topics.
