On the morning of September 17 the phrase "#icandowithout" is at the top of Twitter's most talked about topics.

Users are tweeting about the things they could (or should) do without in their lives.

Twitter users say they can do without ..."a lot of things, it's a matter of needs over wants. I just don't overindulge in my wants to the point I forget about my needs," "Smoking. It's just not for me," and "myspace & facebook but never TWITTER!"


the prhase "#icandowithout" is followed by the hashtags "reallymeans" and "newtwitter" in second and third places.

The name of American TV sitcom It's "Always Sunny" in Philadelphia is in fourth place, "Pope" Benedict XVI is in fifth place, and "Goedemorgen" (the Dutch word for "good morning") is in sixth place.

"Karl," the name of a hurricane that's headed towards the Gulf of Mexico is in seventh place.

Microbloggers in New York City and surrounding areas are also using their 140 characters to tweet about a bad storm/"Tornado" that passed through the city.

Vinny Guadagino, the name of a housemate from the American reality TV series Jersey Shore is in eighth place while film " Paranormal Activity" is a promoted topic in tenth place.
