The term "egg recall" is linked to the August 20 news that throughout America over half a billion eggs have been recalled after tests confirmed that those from a farm in Iowa could contain salmonella, the second widespread recall of eggs from Iowa in a week.
The name of "nadja benissa," the singer in one of Germany's top all-girl bands, is in the charts after she went on trial earlier this week accused of grievous bodily harm, by having sex with three men without first disclosing that she was HIV-positive.
Turkish terms "kyk" and "meb" were the next most searched for terms: "meb" is the national governmental educational portal, and "kyk" is a recently launched government server, also for education and youth programs.
The search terms with the most significant growth worldwide in the last seven days as measured by Google Insights, recorded on August 23 at 10:30 AM GMT are:

*Breakout defines a search term that has experienced a change in growth greater than 5000 percent.
