Your support makes all the difference.According to Chinese-based research and consulting company Marbridge Consulting, China Mobile is preparing to release up to 30 new handsets based on their version of Google's Android mobile operating system.
Phones running on China Mobile's Open Mobile Phone Operating System (or OMS for short), are referred to as OPhones.
"Wang Tun, vice president of mobile operating system design studio Borqs, said that Borqs will work with China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) and handset manufacturers to release approximately 30 TD-SCDMA OPhone handsets this year," wrote Marbridge Consulting on their website on February 2.
According to the article, China Mobile's proprietary operating system currently runs on eight different handsets models. Dopod Magic was the first Ophone to be sold before handset makers Dell, LG, Lenovo, Philips and Hisense entered the market with their own versions of the Ophone.
