Apple announces it will take part in Black Friday 2018, with days of deals
Company has previously offered gift cards alongside its most popular products

And it won't only be Friday: the sales are set to run over the entire long weekend, with deals available until Monday.
Customers will have to wait until Friday to find out what they actually are, however, with Apple only announcing that it will be running offers between 23 and 26 November.
And those deals probably won't be of the kind offered by other companies and shops. Apple has traditionally resisted Black Friday, instead running small offers but not slashing prices or offering deep discounts.
In the last couple of years, for instance, the company has just offered gift cards when people bought specific products. Those gift cards have to be spent in the Apple Store and the products still sold at full price.
Apple said almost nothing about this year's deals. It announced them with a mysterious set of phrases, reading only: "Four days. Special offers" and making clear the dates.
As such, Apple's own website does not traditionally offer the best deal on the company's own products. Better offers can often be scored through other retailers – and a complete list of the best of them can be found in this list.
