History: CEIBS has campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, Accra (Ghana), and teaching facilities in Shenzen. CEIBS is the first business school on the Chinese mainland to offer a full-time MBA, an Executive MBA, and a wide array of Executive Education programmes. By 2012 CEIBS will have graduated more than 12,000 MBA and EMBA students, and provided management training to more than 90,000 executives, contributing significantly to the rapid growth of China’s economy.
Address: The MBA programme is based out of Shanghai, in the city’s Jinqiao district. In 2013 the campus will double in size with the completion of the new campus expansion project.
Ambience: Designed by world-renowned architects Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, the school’s architecture combines Western perspective with the subtlety of Chinese design. With the reflecting pool surrounding the library at the centre, all the school’s buildings are connected by arcade walkways uniting the whole campus. Indoor installations are equipped with state-of-the art classrooms, meeting suites and the grand auditorium.
Vital statistics: 18-month full-time English language progamme. MBA Class 2012 stats - 203 Students, 20-country coverage, average work experience 5.7 years, 36 per cent international, 33 per cent female. Ranked in the Financial Times top 25 of the past eight years.

Easy to get into? A minimum of two years of work experience is required, with English language proficiency and an average GMAT score of 691.

Who's the boss? Dean John Quelch brings with him 25 years experience at Harvard Business School, and three years Dean at the London Business School.
