Why? Course teaches performance, composition, technical and theoretical studies in popular and contemporary music. Also business studies.

Entry: 6 A-level points, 80 UCAS tariff points

How long? 2 Years

Why? Course teaches acting, singing, dance, physical performance and musical theatre. Trains you to skip across the stages of Broadway

Entry: Relevant BTEC or a GNVQ in performing arts or 2 A-levels>

What? BMus Music Technology

Where? Edinburgh

How long? Optional 3 or 4 years

Why? Course teaches acoustics, mathematics, electronics, music technology, synthesis and (for those on the 4-year course) computer programming.

Entry: 30 points and grade 5 in any instrument. You may be asked to supply examples of your work.
