Paralympians preparing to take to the snow and ice in PyeongChang have been filmed reacting to surprise messages of support from their loved ones.

The athletes thought they were taking part in an interview about their preparations for the Games. Instead, they were reduced to tears by supportive words from the people who have helped them on their journey to PyeongChang.
