Your support makes all the difference.The death of Terimon, included by racing's bureaucrats at Weatherbys last Friday in their list of the recently deceased, has been prematurely reported.
The nine-year-old, who achieved fame as the 500-1 shot who chased Nashwan home in the 1989 Derby, is in fact fit and well at the Barton Stud in Bury St Edmunds where he has stood as a stallion since 1992.
"He is fine and in good form," Joss Collins, manager of the stud, said. "His first crop are yearlings and he is set to cover more than 30 mares this season."
Paul Palmer, of Weatherbys, explained how the error occurred: "We had notification of the death of a yearling by Terimon and, unfortunately, it got transposed as Terimon."
