From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Andy Murray admitted that his partnership with Amelie Mauresmo has already helped with his attitude and concentration on court as he breezed through the second round against Blaz Rola 6-1, 6-1, 6-0 in just 84 minutes.

The defending champion is likely to have a tougher time in the third round as he faces Roberto Bautista Agut, who has reached his career-high ranking (23) on Monday. In addition, the Spaniard has advanced to the fourth round of Australian Open earlier this year and won his first career title in ‘s-Hertogenbosch last week.

Despite that, all of the pressure will still be on Murray as Bati has never advanced this far in Wimbledon.

The two players have never met before. The winner will face either Kevin Anderson or Fabio Fognini in the fourth round.

Start: Friday, third match on Centre Court
