Your support makes all the difference.Laura Robson suffered a first-round exit at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo on Monday after going down to a straight sets loss to Ayumi Morita.
Robson was meeting Morita for the third time in 2013, with both players having won one match each previously, but the British number one could not repeat her success from their last meeting at Carlsbad in July as she slumped to defeat.
The Japanese edged the first set on a tie-break after both players had claimed two service breaks each before Morita took advantage of the only break point in the second set to claim the match 7-6 (7/4) 6-3 in one hour 26 mintues.
Morita, ranked 24 places below Robson at 62 in the world, will face sixth seed Jelena Jankovic in the second round.
