Your support makes all the difference.Boris Becker may have been conspicuous by his absence from the BBC commentary team at Wimbledon this year - but at least he has a good excuse. Now clearly enjoying life as a media pundit the 38-year-old is turning his hand to his second love, football.
"Unfortunately, I could not be here for the whole fortnight, but there is a little tournament going on [in Germany] and I am doing the same thing there as I am doing here," he said. "I have had the chance to talk to David Beckham and Sven Goran Eriksson. I see most matches but, do not worry, I will be back next year and will do the whole Wimbledon fortnight again."
As for the chances of England beating Portugal today, Becker said: "I think England are going to win - they are not playing so great but Portugal are running out of players." However, Becker was more diplomatic when asked if there could be a final between the two sporting rivals, England and Germany before his country's quarter-final yesterday. "I am not going to look past Argentina right now," he said. "Next week we can talk about the semi-finals or a potential final."
