Emma Raducanu begins her Miami Open campaign against Bianca Andreescu as the opening round begins on Tuesday.

The British No 1 has been handed a tough draw against the fellow US Open champion, with Canadian Andreescu also winning the grand slam as an unheralded teenager in 2019.

It could get even tougher in the second round with the seventh seed Maria Sakkari scheduled to play the winner.

Raducanu is hoping to build on a positive run at Indian Wells, where the 20-year-old secured some of her best victories since her US Open win before defeat to world number one Iga Swiatek in the fourth round.

What time is Emma Raducanu vs Bianca Andreescu?

The Miami Open first round contest between Raducanu and Andreescu is scheduled as the opening match on Hard Rock Stadium, and is therefore expected to begin at around 4pm BST on Wednesday 21 March.

Andy Murray will play Dusan Lajovic in the third match of the day on Hard Rock Stadium at around 7:30pm BST.
