Your support makes all the difference.Stefan Edberg, who has not won a tournament since April, battled his way through to the final of the Hong Kong championships yesterday. The Swede clinched his straight-sets victory by taking a second-set tie-break 11-9 to line up a match against Richard Krajicek. Edberg took the first set in 30 minutes, but after serving seven double faults early in the second he had to save a set point to force a tie-break, which he won on his fifth match point. Krajicek used his big serve to overpower Lendl, who had won the tournament in each of the past three years. He took the last set of a blistering 69-minute semi-final 6-0. In Peking, Michael Chang beat Tommy Ho in an all-Chinese-American semi-final of the Salem Open and faced Canada's Greg Rusedski in the final.
