COLIN BEECHER, of Kent, won his first senior event by beating the British Davis Cup player, Danny Sapsford, in straight sets in the final of an LTA Spring satellite tournament at Bracknell yesterday. Claire Taylor, from Oxfordshire, lost in the women's final to South Africa's Nannie De Villiers.
