ROSS MATHESON was rewarded yesterday for beating the 13th seed, Jakob Hlasek, in the first round of the Stella Artois Championships with one of four remaining wild cards for Wimbledon. The 23-year-old Glaswegian was also given a wild card into next week's Direct Line Championships at Manchester. The Surrey junior, Lorna Woodroffe, and Colette Hall, of Dorset, have been awarded the last two women's wild cards for Wimbledon.
