Your support makes all the difference.Liselotte Neumann manged to birdie the final hole to beat the Canadian Lorie Kane for a one-stroke victory at the Toray Japan Queens Cup in Otsu, the penultimate tournament of the US LPGA Tour. The Swede stroked her approach shot on the 540-yard par five to within a metre of the hole and calmly sank the putt, disappointing Kane who had finished in an earlier group. Both players shot a round of 67 on the final day, as did the British pair, Lisa Hackney and Laura Davies, who finished two and three shots respectively behind the winner. Catriona Matthew was a stroke further back after a 70.
Davis Love, the US PGA champion, and David Toms both fired a six-under- par round of 67 to remain tied for the lead after the third round of the Kapalua International unofficial PGA Tour event in Maui, Hawaii. Love and Toms moved to 17-under 200 after 54 holes of the tournament which is being played on two courses. Olin Browne also compiled a 67 to trail the leaders by three strokes and one shot further back is Billy Mayfair after a 66. The British pair Sandy Lyle (70) and Barry Lane (72) are 20 and 22 shots off the pace respectively.
