The firm said in New York yesterday that the Brazilian signed an exclusive contract with it to make a television series on football entitled 'Pele's World of Football'. But it claims Pele had already made a similar deal with another company.

JOHN HENDRIE, the Middlesbrough striker, was yesterday fined pounds 500 by an FA disciplinary committee after being reported by a linesman for remarks made during Middlesbrough's 1-0 defeat by Southend in September.
