GREG LEMOND'S appearance in the Tour de France, which starts on 3 July, is in doubt after he pulled out of the Route de Sud on Wednesday.

GRAEME OBREE, the British hour record holder, achieved his second Isle of Man time trial win after completing a 10-mile course near Ramsey in 20min 53sec. Lisa Boardman, sister of the Olympic pursuit champion Chris, won the women's event in 24min 50sec.
