Susi Susanti, the Olympic champion, regained the women's title by beating Bang Soo Hyun, of South Korea, 4-11 11-4 11-1. Heryanto Arbi took the men's title beating his compatriot the world No 1, Joko Suprianto, 15-7 4-15 15-11 .
