Your support makes all the difference.The Egyptian wrestler, Mohy Abdel Hareth, was stripped of his gold medal at the All Africa Games in Harare yesterday after failing a drug test, while a Nigerian sprinter, Paul Egonye, was given a four-year ban for using steroids. Hareth, who had won the 100kg Greco-Roman event, tested positive for the banned substance, Noresterone. Earlier this week a Ghanaian long jumper, Andrew Owusu, and a South African athlete, Karen Botha, the wife of the former Springbok rugby captain Naas Botha, also failed drug tests.
