SWEDEN'S Henrik Holm continued his serene progress through the draw at the Seiko indoor tennis tournament in Tokyo yesterday with a 7-5, 6-2 semi-final victory over the Russian, Alexander Volkov. He will meet Ivan Lendl, a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Michael Chang in the other semi-final, in today's final.

MARTINA NAVRATILOVA will have to work on her 36th birthday, seeking to add one more tournament victory to her record 160. Navratilova routed Arantxa Sanchez Vicario 6-1, 6-1 yesterday to reach the final of the Porsche Grand Prix at Filderstadt, Germany, where she will meet Gabriela Sabatini, who rallied to beat Mary Joe Fernandez 7-5 6-2.
