TEAMS are still hoping to drive Lancia Deltas in the world championship next season, despite moves by the Italian car-maker to further distance itself from the sport. Lancia, which had stopped entering works cars last year, said this week that the Fiat subsidiary was ceasing involvement with the various teams who drive its Delta Integrale HFs. Instead, Lancia's sports unit, Abarth, is handing over the cars to another Italian firm, Jolly Club.
