The 22 chairmen met in London yesterday to discuss lucrative deals offered by the Ford Motor Company and the brewers, Bass. Rick Parry, the Premier League chief executive, said: 'The clubs considered a number of proposals put forward but decided in favour of looking to identify with a sponsor whose product does not conflict with existing club sponsorships.'
