ORANGE FREE STATE yesterday won South Africa's inter-provincial Castle Cup for the first time by beating Western Province by 114 runs.

CASTLE CUP (Final day of four): (Johannesburg): Natal 279 and 71; Transvaal 154 and 147 (M Yachad 53; P Symcox 4-40). Natal won by 49 runs. (Bloemfontein): Orange Free State 266 and 303 for 1 dec; Western Province 165 and 290 (G Kirsten 105; O Henry 5-68). Orange Free State won by 114 runs. (Port Elizabeth): Northern Transvaal 236 and 92 for 3. Eastern Province 286 for 7 dec. Match drawn.
