GILL CLARK and Gillian Gowers came within one victory of taking the World Grand Prix title when they beat the European doubles champions from Sweden, Christine Magnusson and Lim Xiaoqing, in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Clark and Gowers scored one of the best victories of their career by 15-10, 15-12 against a pair who have won four major titles in recent weeks. The English pair meet China's Yao Fen and Lin Yanfeng, in tomorrow's final.
