The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, the game's governing body, has come under fire from world No 1 Stephen Hendry's manager, Ian Doyle.
John Higgins has narrowed the gap on world No 1 Stephen Hendry after his success in the European Open. Hendry lost in the quarter-finals to James Wattana, but remains clear leader in the world list. Ronnie O'Sullivan's first-round loss at the European Open relegates him to fourth.
