They opened up an early 10-5 lead after the opening end, increased it to 35-15 by the close of the fifth end and by the half-way mark had virtually sealed their victory as they held a 48-shot advantage at 80-32.
Evelyn McGarvie, a Perth club player, returned the top score after a 27-13 victory over Betty Morgan. Jean Sykes beat Gill Miles 29-16, Annette Christie overcame Ann Dainton 25-14, and Roberta Hutchison, beat the former world outdoor champion, Janet Ackland, 24-14.
