Rugby World Cup favourites New Zealand defeated South Africa in Yokohama as the All Blacks sent out a warning to their many tournament rivals.
The South Africans dominated the start of the match, with their rush defence keeping the All Blacks at arm's length, but the match exploded into life in the space of three first-half minutes.
First Richie Mo'unga snatched possession from Duane Vermuelen, leading to George Bridge completing a fine try. Then, Scott Barrett completed another fine team move, finishing under the posts.
Pieter-Steph du Toit scored at the start of the second-half for South Africa to narrow the score, but New Zealand kept their noses in front and secured their first victory of the tournament.
