From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of tonight's autumn international between England and Samoa, brought to you from Twickenham Stadium.

England are in desperate need of a victory after losing to New Zealand and South Africa by three points in both of their last two outings at HQ. Stuart Lancaster's side are on a rather worrying run of five games without a win, and defeat against Samoa could raise question of Lancaster's leadership with less than a year until the World Cup.

Those two defeats have led to a reshuffle of the England line-up, with George Ford coming in at fly-half to give the Red Rose some impetus behind the scrum. Owen Farrell switches to inside centre, while Ben Youngs replaces Danny Care in the nine shirt.

Rob Webber is given a chance at hooker, while both James Haskell and Ben Morgan join Chris Robshaw in the back-row.
