EPS regulations helped greatly as Saracens celebrated a record-equalling 262nd Premiership appearance by Steve Borthwick in style. Wasps had to rest Joe Launchbury and Matt Mullan, which hampered their pack, and Saracens took charge, with Jamie George (two), Jackson Wray and Alex Goode scoring their tries.
Charlie Hodgson kicked a penalty to set the scoreboard moving and added two conversions. Owen Farrell came on to kick one of each. Wasps scored tries through Tom Howe, Jonah Holmes and Carlo Festuccia but were not helped by Andy Goode landing only one kick out of five.
