Your support makes all the difference.Scotland scrum-half Chris Cusiter has signed a three-year contract extension with Glasgow Warriors, the RabDirect PRO12 team have announced.
The British and Irish Lion will remain with Glasgow until May 2015 after becoming the seventh Warrior to commit his future to the club in recent weeks.
The announcement is a boost for Glasgow, coming two weeks after Scotland second row Richie Gray confirmed he would be moving to Sale Sharks at the end of the current season.
The deal means 29-year-old Cusiter is likely to complete his career at Glasgow, following spells at the now defunct Borders side and Perpignan in France.
Cusiter captained Scotland early in Andy Robinson's reign as head coach but endured a torrid time with a long-standing knee injury and made the World Cup squad only after proving his fitness with a stint playing club rugby in Australia.
The scrum-half is thrilled by the potential at Glasgow and retains high hopes for the future.
He told http://www.glasgowwarriors.org: "I'm delighted to have signed for another three years, and I'm genuinely excited about what we're in a position to realise here during that period of time.
"I'm personally very ambitious: I want to perform to a very high level with the Warriors in the RaboDirect PRO12 and Heineken Cup, helping the team achieve success, and I'm also determined to establish myself as the first choice scrum-half for Scotland."
Glasgow head coach Sean Lineen told http://www.glasgowwarriors.org: "Keeping Chris here says to the world at large that we're serious about taking Glasgow Warriors forward.
"I'd like to thank everyone at the club and at Scottish Rugby who played their part in making this happen."
