Rain beaches National Pro-Am

The third round of the AT&T National Pro-Am at Pebble Beach, California, was postponed yesterday after heavy rain swamped the course. The final two rounds will be played today. Nick Faldo and Howard Clark lead the overseas challenge after shooting second round 69s. The British duo are on 138 - two shots behind leader Jeff Maggert. Tony Jacklin fired a first round 70 to leave him five shots behind leader Hale Irwin in the pounds 566,000 Royal Caribbean Classic at Key Biscayne, Florida. Wayne Westner moved into a one-shot lead after the third round of the Wild Coast Challenge in Port Edward, South Africa yesterday. Westner recovered from dropping shots at his first two holes to card a patient 69 for a 54-hole total of 203 - seven under par.
