RACING: HYPERION'S TV TIPS
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

2.55: GRANGEVILLE returns to the scene of his only success. He trotted up that day over this same trip and an 8lb pull gives him every chance of making up the three-and-a-half-length deficit with Gift Of Gold on their Victoria Cup running.
ooo
4.30: CRACK SHOT has so far made her name in bumpers, gaining two wins in the mud. But she's a Gunner-B half-sister to winners under Flat rules and she could easily win this moderate handicap after facing three stern tests in maidens over shorter trips.
YORK
2.40: With no public form to go on, GOLDEN MIRACLE cannot be a confident choice and a good look for any market moves is recommended.
ooo
3.10: Dee Pee Tee Cee is the favourite, and deserves to be after his stylish, unpenalised win in an apprentice race earlier in the week, but there are other in-form runners available at more than twice the price. SCENE, in particular, will surely be in the shake-up. She has been bang there on her last five starts and emerged on top in competitive events at both Ascot and Epsom. The trip and ground will suit her here.
ooo
3.45: Frankie Dettori is linked with THREAT for the first time since the colt's debut win at Goodwood. The son of Zafonic gave signs of a close- at-hand handicap success with his fourth to Cubism at Haydock and, with Dettori to add the finishing touches, he can reverse placings from that race with both Munjiz and Pips Magic.
ooo
4.15: There are plenty of possibilities in this race for lady amateurs, but MONTECRISTO is fancied to provide his third success for Rachel Flynn. He should get the sound pace he requires and that should ensure a return to the form which saw him an unlucky second at Epsom in April. The chief threat is Arctic Fancy who did well last season and has since come third in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.
ooo
4.45: MINI LODGE should prove good value to upset likely favourite Swallow Flight. The selection is crying out for this trip and can show marked improvement on his 1999 debut.
