The Tote reacted to the victory for Ted Walsh's Triumph Hurdle winner, the heavily-backed 5-4 favourite yesterday, by making him 5-1 favourite (from 10-1) for Saturday week's race at the Irish course as well as 10- 1 clear favourite for the Tote Gold Trophy Handicap Hurdle at Newbury on 14 February.
