Your support makes all the difference.John Gosden will announce today whether the Derby winner, Benny The Dip, has run his last race in Britain. The trainer was pleased with the colt's work on Saturday and is likely to aim the three-year-old at either next Saturday's Champion Stakes or the Canadian International. Benny The Dip is to be retired to stud in North America at the end of the season.
Also a consideration for the Champion could be Singspiel, the horse that was won more prize-money than any other trained in Britain.
l Henry Cecil announced yesterday that Sleepytime is to be retired for the season. He added that the 1,000 Guineas winner will be back in action next year.
