Great Britain's Shauna Mullin and Zara Dampney fought back to beat Canada's Marie-Andree Lessard and Annie Martin at Horse Guards Parade yesterday.

The British pair prevailed in an absorbing contest, showing flashes of real quality on their way to a 17-21, 21-14, 15-13 victory. Mullin and Dampney will take great encouragement from their performance and will hope for more of the same in their next preliminary phase match against Italy's Greta Cicolari and Marta Menegatti tomorrow.
