2pm Equestrianism: Jumping Individual qualifying round three; Team finals. Nick Skelton, competing in his seventh Games, leads the British side.

Gymnastics: Artistic Men's rings final, followed by the women's uneven bars final at 2.50pm – when the ever-popular Beth Tweddle will hope for a golden swansong after finishing fourth in 2008 – and the men's vault final at 3.41pm.

Sailing Men's laser medal race. Paul Goodison has slipped from medal contention.

TV: 4-6pm, BBC 1

4.08pm Cycling: Women's omnium Laura Trott begins her campaign with the flying lap 250m time trial.

4.15pm Handball Men's Group A: Iceland v Great Britain. The hosts, who are bottom of the group with four defeats from four matches, face another tough task.

4.45pm Basketball Men's Group B: Great Britain v China. To decide who finishes bottom.

Volleyball Men's Pool A: Great Britain v Argentina. GB seek to bow out with a first victory.

5pm Women's football France v Japan takes place at Wembley, with Old Trafford hosting Canada v United States at 7.45pm.

5.40pm Cycling: Track Men's sprint final. Chris Hoy and Jason Kenny made it a British one-two in Beijing four years ago, but, with only one entrant per country permitted this time around, Kenny was chosen ahead of Hoy to go at the Velodrome.

TV: 6-7pm, BBC 2

6.20pm Water polo Men's Group B: Great Britain v Montenegro. The home side play their final match.

TV: 7-10pm, BBC 1

7pm Athletics Women's pole vault final, where Yelena Isinbayeva seeks a third successive gold but could face competition from Britain's Holly Bleasdale and Kate Dennison. The women's shot final follows, at 7.15pm, and the 200m heats at 7.20pm.

8.45pm Athletics Men's 400m hurdles final. Home hope and European, Commonwealth and world champion Dai Greene seeks to improve on his poor showing in qualifying and continue the hosts' golden track record from the weekend.

9.05pm Athletics Women's 3,000m steeplechase final, with the men's 400m final following at 9.30pm.
