Your support makes all the difference.Thousands of people have been offered tickets to alternative events at the London Olympics after organisers admitted an error led to 10,000 too many tickets being sold for synchronised swimming sessions.
Human error is believed to be responsible for 20,000 tickets being put on sale in the second round of sales for four of the sessions in the aquatics centre rather than 10,000. Around 3,000 people have been contacted and are being offered tickets for alternative events. For some, this means they will now be able to attend high-demand events.
A London 2012 spokesperson said: "As a result of finalising the seating configurations in our venues, we have discovered an error in seats available."
