Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Oldham are without the centres Howard Hill and Paul Topping for today's visit to in-form Bradford Bulls. Hill suffered a dislocated shoulder against St Helens last Friday with Topping suffering a wrist injury. The Australian forward Matt Munro is also doubtful with a back problem.

The third-placed Bulls, who are still in with an outside chance of the title, are without the forward Jeremy Donougher and the utility back Gary Christie through injury. Simon Knox and Nathan Graham are added to the squad.

Bradford have won four of their last five home meetings with Oldham, whose only win at Odsal in the past decade was a 37-10 success there in March 1991.

Paris St Germain , who came so close to beating mighty Wigan at home last weekend, go to Headingley in search of their first away win of the summer - and to ease their relegation worries.

The French outfit could be without Australians Ian Russell and Todd Brown through injury but they are set to give debuts to Justin Bryant, signed from London Broncos, and Wakefield rugby union forward Jon Griffiths.

Fellow strugglers Leeds, looking to complete their first Super League double of the campaign, hope to have giant Kiwi centre Kevin Iro back after a lengthy injury absence, while England forward Adrian Morey is fit again.

However, there is still a doubt over half-back Dean Clark, who was injured in Leeds' defeat at London last weekend.

Struggling Workington have major injury problems for the home game against Castleford. Skipper Rowland Phillips has not trained this week because of a rib injury picked up in last week's record 74-14 defeat at Halifax.

Australian Brad Nairn suffered concussion in that game and he was waiting for the result of a brain scan before making himself available for selection.

Town coach Ross O'Reilly will start with two loan players, Sheffield winger Richard Armsword and Salford scrum-half Ian Watson. Cumbrian forward Lee Prest, 20, who has joined Workington on loan until the end of the season from Wigan, will be included in the 17.
