Dwain Chambers, of London, set a new world junior 100 metres record in Ljubljana, Slovenia, yeseterday as he became the first athlete in history to retain the European junior 100m title. The 19-year-old from Belgrave Harriers clocked 10.06sec to beat the previous best by 0.02sec registered by Obadele Thompson, of the Bahamas, in 1994.
