FOOTBALL Yugoslavia, who missed the 1992

European Championship finals because of a United Nations sporting ban, play Brazil on 23 December for their first away match in two years. They play Argentina in a friendly four days later, following the lifting of the ban last month.

Cesar Menotti, who led Argentina to their first World Cup title in 1978, resigned yesterday as coach of the struggling First Division team, Boca Juniors, according to club directors.
