The NFL Draft is here with the football world descending on Nashville to welcome a new class to the professional game.

All eyes are on Kyler Murray, who declared for the draft after walking away from a career in baseball after being drafted by the Oakland Athletics.

But the mercurial quarterback represents a risk as the No 1 pick overall and would mean the Cardinals moving on just a year after drafting fellow signal caller Josh Rosen.

Ripping it up and starting again under Murray appears to be in play, but dominant defensive talents Nick Bosa, Josh Allen and Quinnen Williams look ready to energise their teams wherever they land.

You can follow how it all unfolds on the Independent’s live blog, or watch the drama from Nashville on television or live stream it – more of which below.
