Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

The super cars of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship take to the fastest track in Britain next weekend 4/5 July, at the high-speed Snetterton Racing Circuit.

The sight and sound of full race tuned GT cars including Ferrari, Aston Martin, Dodge Viper, Mosler and Ascari in high speed, no quarter asked action is one of the most thrilling in motorsport. This is the UK's premier domestic GT Championship, you can see all of the action all around the circuit.

Also on the bill are the young guns of the Cooper Tires British F3 International Championship. The Championship has been won in the past by motor sport legends like Ayrton Senna, while current F1 Championship leader Jensen Button also raced in the series. The weekend promises to be a festival of top class motor sport action.

The Independent has teamed up with Snetterton and the event organisers to offer readers 10 pairs of tickets to see the Supercar showdown and also the stars of tomorrow race. The tickets are valid for two days of top class motorsport with the GT's racing on Saturday and the F3's and GT's both on track on Sunday.

To win a pair of tickets to this great event, answer the following question.
