Valentino Rossi 'kicks' Marc Marquez from bike causing crash at MotoGP Malaysian Grand Prix
Rossi has been punished for the incident

Valentino Rossi's hopes of winning the MotoGP title have been dealt a huge blow after he was penalised for kicking rival Marc Marquez off his bike in the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Rossi will start the final race of the season, the Valencia GP on November 8, from the back of the grid as he seeks a 10th world title and was also given three penalty points after finishing third in Sunday's race.
It's punishment for the incredible clash he had with Marquez at the Malaysian Grand Prix. Having fought throughout the race, Rossi appeared to kick his rival's bike on lap 13 of 20, causing Marquez to crash.
Rossi has since accused Marquez of trying to help his Spanish compatriot Jorge Lorenzo win the title. Lorenzo now sits just seven points behind Rossi in the standings after finishing the Malaysian Grand Prix in second, 3.6 seconds behind race winner Dani Pedrosa.
"Unfortunately, I lose a lot of time with Marc," the Italian explained. "And in turn 14, I tried to go a bit wide to take a better line and make him slow.
"He came to me and I think he crashed in that moment. His handlebar touched my foot and my foot slipped off, a bike can't crash only with a touch."

Rossi added: "He has won his fight, he made me lose the championship."
MotoGP race director Mike Webb said: "It's irresponsible riding causing a crash and for that we have imposed three penalties points on Rossi."
